What is a demo vehicle?
If you are unfamiliar, a demo (or demonstrator) is a vehicle the dealership utilizes for the purpose of demonstrating all of the vehicle’s strengths and features. Demo vehicles can come at a higher trim level or loaded with extra features, in an effort to highlight some of the options available for those in the market for said vehicle. They are the same vehicles you see in the showroom — but they aren’t collecting dust. Rather, they can be used for short test drives by executive professionals (up to a certain mileage marker) while still being classified as a new vehicle.
Why buy a demo vehicle?
As mentioned above, these are still considered “new” vehicles, which means they qualify for new vehicle leasing and finance rates.
